The music featured has grown out of the singer-songwriter movement that emerged in the UK and the USA at the end of the 1960s. This has not limited the range of styles to be found on the CDs which embraces jazz and  post-minimalism (what in the USA is sometimes called "Downtown Music") plus the work of established composers as well as contemporary songwriters.

Tracks

You can hear samples of the tracks - the samples are in two different formats:

  • wma - "Windows Media Audio format" - this is probably the best format to use if you do not have a fast Internet connection

  • mp3 - "MP3" format - this is slightly better quality than "wma" format - only use this if you have a fast connection to the Internet. You can also download this file to your PC by right-clicking the mouse over the mp3 link and saving the file on your hard disc.
